Mission
Our mission is to promote the education and art of knitting by encouraging high standards of quality workmanship through education and communication with members and with other interested persons in the community.
To this end we have an active program of evening meetings featuring special events, speakers or demonstrations. There are also informal drop-in knitting sessions with an occasional instructional program at the drop-in session on Saturday. We occasionally present two-day weekend workshops with national level instructors.
Our goals are three: to support local knitting and ancillary craft businesses, to promote learning and improving our craft, and to provide community outreach to increase awareness and interest in knitting.
